Choir Practice for Christmas is being held Sunday at 5:00pm in the chapel. Childcare is provided for those that need it.

The funeral service for Yolanda Charlton will be this Thursday, October 28 at 1pm at the Stake Center. A public viewing will be at 12:00. The burial will be private.

This Saturday (October 30) is the Merced 1st Ward Zion's Market. It will be at the McKee Building 8-11 in the morning. Bring your family, have some warm cinnamon rolls, and enjoy as we share our abundance with each other! Donations for the market will be accepted at the church the day before (Friday) from 12-7pm. Please make sure all donations are usable, clean, and in good condition. Please have them sorted by category. We will have the market divided into the following categories:

Furniture
Baby furniture
Literature (Books, Magazines, Books on tape/CD)
Toys
Sports
Crafts & Sewing
Bedding & Linens
Jewelry & Bags
Electronics
Outdoor Equipment
Shoes
Men's Clothing (please have grouped by size and on hangers)
Women's Clothing (please have grouped by size and on hangers)
Children's Clothing (please have grouped by size)
Kitchen
Produce (Bring donations on Saturday: fresh from garden, home baked goods, fresh flowers)
Service Items (coupon for babysitting, transportation, etc.)
Decor & Home goods (lamps, pictures, vases,etc)

Any items that are large and not easily transported--please bring a picture of the item to post.

We encourage you to involve the whole family! Have children select a few toys to donate, teenagers can go through their clothes, volunteer to babysit, etc.

Bring a bag to "shop" with, we'll see you there!


The Stake Trunk or Treat is Saturday October 30 from 5-7 at the Stake Center. If you are handing out candy, please park your car by 4:30.
